We're PairUp Pickleball

A new non-profit focused on creating and promoting pickleball programs for people with intellectual disabilities or learning challenges

PairUp Pickleball aspires to produce athletes who are comfortable and competent enough to play pickleball matches independently.

To learn the game, we offer clinics & lessons with experienced volunteer coaches.  To ensure optimal learning we strive for a one-to-one athlete to coach ratio.  Open play sessions and tournaments are coming soon!

Why Pickleball?

There's a reason pickleball is the fastest growing sport in America.  In fact, there are many!  It's fast-paced and easy to learn.  It's forgiving to new players, yet can be played at highly competitive levels.  It's great exercise, family-friendly, and courts are popping up nationwide.

And, it's super social!  The doubles rotation format means making lots new friends.  Kids and adults of all ages can play together.

"Tamra and I have found pickleball to be extremely welcoming. Not only did we quickly meet new pickleball communities in the Dallas area, we also easily found players in other cities-  from Chicago, Illinois, to Prescott, Arizona. We rarely travel without our paddles!   In addition, it's been fun for the entire family. We play with our daughter and have also been teaching our grandsons."
